Developed in response to customer demand for multi-line datalogging capability, the DL1 Datalogger board is typically connected to a PC computer running EGC ControlNet software to acquire, log and display data from up to 24 sensors per board. The DL1’s input lines may be utilized with thermocouples and milliamp or millivolt output sensors.
Economically, use of the DL1 board provides a very low cost per line means of monitoring multiple sensors. The DL1 is an input sub-system based on the EGC TC2 control family. Designed primarily for enhanced data logging, a fully configured DL1 supports 24 input lines and 2 serial communications ports (RS232 and RS485).
Features
* 24 analog input lines may be individually configured for thermocouple, milliamp or millivolt input
* Input selected for thermocouples may be configured as type T, K, J or E
* Temperature measurements in the -100º C to +200º C range are supported for all types
* Milliamp inputs may be used with all standard 4-20 mA transducers
* Millivolt inputs are fixed at ±250 mV
* All analog inputs support individual calibration offsets
* Analog lines employ switched capacitor input with chopper stabilized amplifiers
* Analog to digital conversion is via ±14 bit delta-sigma process
* Communication with the DL1 is via serial ports and conforms with the standard EGC TC2
